It's well into season three now.

Yes and no. This is the series 3rd season, but each season is something new. It's odd, you can end up hating season 1 but loving 2 and 3, or whatever. It's all dark though.
 
Yep,that's a problem I have with it...I enjoyed what I did see of last season as it took place in that asylum and I was looking forward to that this season but there's all this witch and voodoo mumbo jumbo going on now....James Cromwell was hilarious last season in Asylum.
 
I actually like the witch and mambo factions and such. I just don't like when they combined christianity, hermeticism, new age wicca, and vodoo all in the same ritual. I do like all the plot layers though, keeps me interested trying to figure stuff out.
 
I saw enough when that fat girl started playing with herself.
 
*lol* Well I expect disturbing with this series ... maybe not that disturbing, but disturbing none the less.
