Ya thats what I was thinking. Juat dont want the male to kill my festae cuz every male con ive owned had done work on ever other fish.

How big is the female? Cause a single male con without a female is more of a annoyance to larger fish then a actual threat.

Usually adding another cichlid to a tank with an already established territorial cichlid, means death for the new cichlid. Or if the new one lives, the 2 then hiding from each other on opposite sides of the tank
If you want more life, a group of large tetras would be a more reasonable solution, and the dithering of the non-territorial fish would probably make your festae more lively and personable in the process.

She is lively. Shes always swimming around and comong to the glass and stuff. I have 3 silver dollars 2 plecos and 4 giant danios. But its just her color has change ever since ive moved her to the 90. She not the bright orange and red. She kinda a dull color.
