i need some info on kelberi peacock bass because i am getting a 8 by 2 by 2 tank soon and i really want to get pbass but my tank is a little small. would a kelberi work? how big do they get? are they as hardy as the other pbass? also, is it hard to get them to eat? thanks

Care is different depending on what size you get them. All pbass are sensitive at smaller sizes but once they hit around 6-7", they are pretty tough fish. Kel's aren't very fast grower so you could probably get 2 years out of the 6x2

Your 8x2x2 should last the kelberi quite some time.
Get atleast 3 so they arent so skittish.
IMO an all kelberi tank would be best when going w/ kels.

No. Kel's are one of the smallest growing bass. I believe the can get to about 24" but the largest i've ever seen on here is about 18" I think

+1 24" is big big even for wild. Captive will most likely max at 20" and less. And would take many years. Thank tank is suitable for a very long time.
