Hey everyone. I'm having a hard time deciding on what fish to keep in my 90 gallon. I have 4 satanoperca leucosticta. 2 are 6 inches other 2 are 3-4 inches. I also have 4 geophagus red head tapajos that are 2-3 inches. I know I cannot house all of them and I love both equally. Its a tuff decision. Tank mates are 6 german blue rams, 2 apistogramma cacatuoides, 10 columbian tetras and soon to be 10 silver tip tetras. 2 of the gbr have eggs at the moment and are guarding with their life and its quite funny to see a 1 inch german blue ram take on a 6 1/2 inch satanoperca and beat it. The satanoperca are scared of them its quite a sight lol. Both geos are gorgeous and I would love to keep both species but I just dont have enough room at the moment. So I want to hear opinions. If you guys were in my situation which would you keep and which would go. And why would you chose them? I attached some pics of my leucosticta. Thanks guys. Look forward to responses

I like fish they are my friends. If I could be a fish I would. That is all

I would keep the Leucosticta. Seem to be a bit more rare and I like how they look

Your right they are a little more rare. I rarely see people with them now that I think about it. And they are nice looking thats for sure! Thank you for your opinion!

Honestly I dont think a 90 gallon is big enough for 2 pairs do you? Would be a lot of fighting?

Not sure how that would work out in a 4ft tank honestly. Maybe somebody with experience will chime in. I would think if you kept all 4 from the same species, a pair would form and they would fight the other 2 anyway.

My pair of Orange Head Tapajos guard about 18" of tank space aggressively, and will bite you if you put your hand in there!

The 2 biggest leucosticta look to be a pair. Never leave eachothers side. But no breeding behavior. I'm not sure how to sex them by looks either. Do you know how?

I'd chose red head tapajos. I just love the way they look with the rad cap on their head. I think it adds color to the tank. I guess it's just a personal preference, just choose what u like more.

Its hard because I love both lol. Really tuff decision.
