Yours has no flowerhorn within it... I wonder why they don't label them accordingly since there is no way they are coming from the same parents. Its really not that hard. One is flowerhorn and the other is rt... There is a big difference bettween the two. I guess its just a store's strategy to make a sale. After one grows the fish out, then it doesn't matter what it is because the sale has been made.

Really cool thread! I've seen a lot of members post pics of these Petsmart RT's when young, but very few people kept them for very long. From what I've read/seen, most of them develop into really cool fish once mature. Be sure to continue with updates on his progress/development.

While I was re-routing his automatic water change hose this afternoon, he kept trying to bite me. My arm was stretched over the top of his tank and I wasn't paying attention to where he was. He saw the opening and took it. He came up out of the water and bit my forearm. Got me good too!
