Hey you guys I was just wondering what would be the best way to place my two fx5 filters on my 135 gallon 72x18x24 inch tank. I'm probably going to do a frontosa tank again after my cyps and other tanganyikans are sold. I just bought another Fx5 yesterday for a really good price and it came with everything

I just don't know how I should set up the intake and outtake considering I already have my old one in there running. The new one is all standard fx5 parts however my old one has a replacement outtake which only goes one direction (picture). How should I set these two up that is ideal for fronts or just any tanganyikan tank? I don't mind moving my old one, the new one isn't up and running yet. My old one's outtake is one the left side of the tank and the intake is in the middle of my aquarium. Thanks!

Put the intakes on the outside and the outputs in the middle. It will look a lot nicer as well. Just point one output going one way and on the standard output, point one towards the surface going to the front of the tank and aim one towards the surface going towards the opposite side. Hope this makes sense lol

I would put the intake one end and output on the other.

After reading it 4 times yes it does makes sense haha thank you! It would make my tank look a lot nicer and more "pro" hahahaha.

Anyone else have any suggestions?

Hard to see but intakes on opposite ends and and outtakes in the middle area. Makes my water super clean.
