I'm not saying wether the call was right or wrong. I saw both hits and in live speed, the one on Brees looked BAD lol. I thought his head was coming off. Kapernick seemed like he got dragged down where as brees was leveled.
I would have just been happy with consistent calling... Same game, side by side... Only difference is my QB hangs on to the ball.

Did that picture of Kap occur after a run (because it looks like it). If it did, than all bets are off and you can hit a qb as hard as any other player.

Idk, with Homefield advantage they're legit. I still think they win the rematch in 2 weeks.

I think so too, but once again Ive been reduced too being so frustrated I cant speak during about half of the game....I still don't understand how we couldn't even touch Manning (at least a friendly smack on the helmet just to show we care), not to mention dropped balls, bad calls, and a fumble from Sherman tank. Smith seems scared to throw the ball, I don't know it that's from our offensive line getting beat every 3rd play, or from the receivers dropping catches; either way I just ate a big piece of humble pie last night to go with the top ramen Ill be eating after losing my -ss!
Could someone explain the 49ners VS. Saints game when Saints intercepted the ball and almost ran the ball back for a touchdown but dropped the ball at the 1 yard line. Then the 49ners got the ball on the 20 yard line? This didn't make any sense.
He fumbled it out of the end zone resulting in a turnover and a touch back back to SF. personally, I thought he was down by contact as the hit as he caught the ball forced him down.
If the WR had caught the ball on similar contact you know they'd have ruled him down. I'm not buying that that he didn't have control yet. So? Tell me you haven't seen similar receptions called down
