Go on ebay and see the money some of the rare cards are bringing. Remember the GPK cheap toys? A full set in can bring a couple hundred bucks.

I used to love them, although I technically wasn't allowed to have them cause they were inappropriate. So I just kept my collections at school and at friends houses.

Watched an episode of "Pawn Stars" where this guy brought in this huge collection in mint condition. They had to bring in a expert collector to appraise it and it wasn't worth much except for a few card/series.
