Hi folks

After viewing so many beautiful channa from this section, I can't hold back anymore but to share my little collection:)

I wish they weren't illegal in canada. No aggression to tankmates?

No aggression, been peaceful throughout.

Nice fish, but bad mix.

Mixing snakeheads with anything is a bad idea , especially other channa. This mix is NOT going to work long term, those snakeheads will mature so will the oscars fights will break out and you'll eventually have one fish left , most likely one of the 2 Channa will be the victor (whoever get bigger and matures first) and when it snaps it'll probably kill everything overnight with no warning leading up to it .

It'll work now while they are all immature but long run you're probably heading down the road that will suddenly end in a lot of dead fish.

Isn't it LEGAL in Canada? Trevor (crazyfreak204) is in Canada and his giant snakeheads are going to be featured in a documentary on TV.

To clear this up, they are legal in all of Canada EXCEPT the provinces of Ontario and Quebec where they have put ban's on all channa.

Let's just wait and see what'll happen, sometimes doing the said 'impossible' can be feasible. But, Snakeheads are snakeheads, they gotta act an be a snakehead... sooooooo~~~:nilly:

Also forgot to add... that Mono in the background is a brackish water fish, will not survive long term in fresh.

Out of curiosity how long has this mix been together ?

This comm been coming to few months and so far no aggression and been well behave at all time.
Thanks for the advise and will monitor closely:D
