VATF, Giant Carp, Kelberi......It's been a while

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
How do you get the whole body of the VATF in pristine focus like that, when it's facing forward? When I take shots like that of a gar for example, the area of focus is always very small.

These shots are all amazing!!! The VATF shots dropped my jaw. Great tone in the shot of the giant carp too. The way the eye pops really makes that pic.

Awesome fish, love the vatf.

Thanks, this guy has survived some serious situations with big pbass and run ins with other big monsters. He's come a long way from being 3" inches.

Awesome photography n gorgeous fish

Thank you very much!

Wow, those are fantastic pics of some great looking fish. That VATF is beautiful.

He is a beast to watch, actively swimming all the time.

The carp is a beast!

Its a huge monster, the size is ridiculous, its super thick.

Its easy, you have to shoot at a high F-stop. When I shoot fish I usually shoot between F8 or F11. Pair that with a quick shutter speed around 1/250 synced with a powerful flash and you should be good. Thanks.

AWESOME:drool:! I miss my guy begging me for food as he would turn on the burners, flip a U-turn and stop right in front of me to get my attention. Lots of big ATF have the lower jaw damaged (especially Goliath). Most don't realize how difficult it is to raise a speed deamon in a home aquarium with a perfect snout.

Good job, yours looks flawless:clap

Amazing pics chon!

I love that vatf !

That is exactly what he was doing, his jaw damage comes and goes as usual. Do you remember me asking you to ID him a couple years ago? lol

You have a white siamensis too?! I may have stalked your Flickr...
Amazing photography and fish!!

Yeah, but that big dummy ended up hurting himself and was unable to pull out of it. Fish vs Acrylic, Acrylic wins lol. Also, thank you very much.
