probably been around 15, i think they're giving out these awards for dominating an era, not a lifetime though. they give out bigger things for those who dominate decades

I would still say it's too early to call her a pop icon

I agree, icon isn't the right word. When I hear that, I think of acts that spanned generations. Elvis, Johnny Cash, The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, Chicago, Aerosmith, U2 ... I couldn't argue these ones, even the ones I where I dislike their music.
