Pretty much. I'm in chemistry we're on electrons and stuff. I hate this stuff. I'm hoping we start doing other stuff soon. The good part is I have no end of course test in May

I'm not in school and haven't been in a long time but in some schools in where I live it's up to the students choice if they want to learn or spend all day on their phone no teacher tells u to stop u either pass the grade or not

My teachers would take my phone till end of the day if I tried that in high school and got caught I was more of a doodler then anything though. I'd sleep and doodle, still ended up getting 80s in all my classes (except for history, that was 92)
