For the record, if i were giving out an award for modern icons in pop/r&b music(meaning i'm not including the icons of yesteryears that have been brought up so far in this thread), i'd have started the award off with beyonce. sure she's no icon in comparison to the madonna's and mj, but she's dominated an era for awhile
 
The girl that plays the piano and sings the New York song is pretty good. I like that Bruno Marzano kid and Gagalucce the girl with the weird cloths, I haven't seen her around in a while. She did SNL a few weeks ago.

Yea thats them Alicia Keys I like her she's very good on the piano. I always call him Bruno Marzano and Lady Gaga U Gagalucce. My kids get annoyed and say "Pop! You didn't just walk offa da boat" So I laugh, it's funny.
