Seems silly to build such a big pond, but I really want to get the flathead and the sperata in as large of a tank as possibly as soon as possible. Then I have a few other surprises up my sleeve. So basically that would be roughly 2000 gals at 2' depth. I may try to push it to 2.5' but that would really be pushing it down there for maintenance lol. I would have to squeeze over the top and basically swim in the pond to do anything to it haha. So first things first I will be buying a few bundles of sandbags to fill first. Then I need to go somewhere to fill them and I know just the spot lol.
This thing has grown much more than expected this first year. Thick also lol. Makes the other large fish look small. Hope i can do a larger tank by next summer.
