Fluffy just chillin. Btw i did find the paper on sexing fhc. Need to apply what i learned today and will share later. They do need to be sexually mature fish to properly sex and as with a lot of NA Catfish it is much easier when they are ready to spawn. Some characteristics i can think of off hand is that males have a head wider than their body. Females heads are more narrow than their body. Males when viewing the vent will have a small protruding nub. Females have the appearance of two holes in the vent. I hate doing stuff from my phone but will try to link the exact info later.

You can catch em depending on where you live. I get them every year in minnow traps and on rod and reel. Never seen them for sale though.
