I figured they were too young to start, but I woke up this morning to find my male had switched colors and was digging nests around my tank. What can I do to provide them with adequate space and stop them from throwing my plants and substrate everywhere? Dont get me wrong, I think it's amazing, but I also hate having to shuffle everything about.:nilly:

First off you have two beautiful fish there. I got sick of replanting when my jewels started spawning so I switched to plants fixed to bogwood.

good idea, I've been too lazy to tie everything down. Im debating making some sort of paper-clip anchor. ...mulling over some options.

From experience, they love to dig and breed. So I would suggest to let them do the decorating. If you like aquascaping this tank, maybe find them another tank, or decorate a different tank.

If I was to create a planted "forest" with a cleared spot around their current nest, Would they use it? Or do they prefer a more open field to breed in?
