Wanted to give an update on what looked to be a crooked tail from birth. Here it is the day she was born and today one week later. Amazing to see the change. Good news also they are eating alright at this point.
Week 3 both are eating well and one is eating so well its already putting on some size. Just want to update this so I can have a record.
Food I have seen them eat to date.
Earth worms
2mm nls pellets
Blood worms
Talapia
Pretty weird how the one is so much bigger at such a young age. The smaller one, well both have a very defined pattern for 3 week old pups. You keeping them?

I plan to grow them out for at least a couple months before I decide what I want to do with them. I want to see what their patterns are going to look like over the next while. They are already eating really really well and that was my first step with them getting ready. Now I see how much they are eating even as pups its making me rethink sometimes. Next I just want to see the pattern developed a bit so I get an idea what they are going to look like as adults even though I think I have a good idea with all my other adults.
With all this going on its making me think more and more about a couple pup tanks. Kinda would like to keep the pups seperate from each female just to make sure they are eating and growing well.
Im waiting for this other female to have hers. She is getting really big. Interested to see what her mantilla/motoro hybrids look like. Probably will sell all of those as I dont need to keep everything and dont have the room currently
