How badly am I overstocked?

Peacock bass are ugly and expensive, you could definately have the Aro, loaches and the silver dollars though!

or look into some tinfoil barbs, I have 12 of them in my 225 and theyre all about 9" long. 10 albinos and 2 regulars. I recommend them as dithers

Really, it is always a balancing act, and if moving on a few of the more common fish is going to let you keep the best of your collection in your biggest tank then go for it. I'd lose the oscars, con, sev, silver dollars and JD if it means you can put the argentina, psittacus and clowns in the 400g.

X2, i know we get attached to fish we've kept a while, but with a few nice monsters already, i would also choose to get rid of the common fish...

Yeah this looks like the plan for now. My favorite fish right now are my Aro, Texas, Festae, Parrot, and Clown Loaches. So no matter what they stay....

Its all good. I have been in the hobby for a very long time but the thing with me is the longer I'm here the more rare and unique I want my fish. So its all working out, as I slowly get to where I want to be.
