They mix with just about anything really. I call him our bouncer.... He never starts a fight, but always seems to end all of them. Regardless of wether he is directly involved or not.

Nice! Thanks for the info. Gonna try it for sure.

Pretty sure I just decided he's moving. Going back up to the 300. Our Argentea is an absolute beast and is starting to give our male Festae some issues. Time for him to go up to the bigs....

Fail. Lol

lasted about a day and our female Festae in my avatar stalked him relentlessly. I think it spurred the Festae to spawn again though, so I did get that out of it.

Back to the 210. He literally swam into the net lol. He was over it. Much happier back in the tank he was in.

Great fish! Pearsei have such good personality for community environments. Mine is a total pig and will just sit and watch you waiting to be fed. It will bite at the glass and you can hear the teeth scrape on the glass. I try hard not to overfeed but they are such beggars.

Looks great , really wanted to get one but their rep for eating plants matches my current fish and they surprisingly do ok so I didn't want to roll those dice any more.

He even shreds plastic ones. Just went outside to feed them and it looks like a weedwacker went through the tank. 🍃🍂🍃🍂🌿🌾

Hah.. I threw in a huge clump of guppy grass in my tank the other day. Between my pearsei and my syn it was gone within a few hours. Plants are definitely hopeless with them.
