Took into account everyones suggestions but heres what I picked for my tank. All fish are an inch or less. 5 blue red head Fenestratus, 5 Maculicauda, 4 Argentea, 6 Bifasciatus Rio Chacamax and 2 Bocourti.

I agree with you. I have a 210 gallon vieja community (video posted in media lounge), and my fish get along great. But took some trial and error. As with most species, some vieja are more temperamental than others, and even then, each fish has a different personality. Biggest concerns on his list that I'd say are the black belts and the red head fenes... but again, he's quite a bit aways before they possibly become a problem, and even then, who knows...Keep us updated. I always wanted black belts for my vieja community, but I stayed away. Too many people said it didn't work for them.
I've grown my vieja out from 1in fish & so far I have found their aggression to be exaggerated. I've had my community going for about 15months now & still consider myself a noob.
