It's tough to say with Datnoids in general what the growth rate actually is. I've never owned an st or ct but when I bought my first indo about a year and a half ago he was 8", now he's about 12". I bought one that was about 6" a few months after and he's the same size if not a little bigger. I think it mostly depends on the individual fish and there appetite. I have some tigers that eat non stop and some that are happy eating 3 or 4 pellets a day

The age of the fish will b determine by the weight. And am yet to weight mine..
