Hello,
I was just wondering how many south american cichlids i could have at once in a 55 gallon tank. I hear you can only have about 3 but how come whats so bad about having more 5-6" fully grown fish?

Nothing that grows more than 8 inches should live in a 55 so your limited to the smaller species but you could easily keep a group of firemouths in a 55

Well because i have a pacu that i accidentally bought with my 55 gallon tank and a huge pike that i am trying to get rid of because i simply dont have ANY space for them the tank is WAY TO SMALL for just those two fish! my pacu is already 10 inches and my pike is a foot long do you know of any ways to get rid of them. Im trying NOT to kill them.

Start a post in the marketplace section. Sell them or give en away. Pike should be easy to unload.
