Well, woopty do!...be on the lookout for a cookie sent via FED Ex...if they don't lose the package.

Hmmmm....

well, you conveniently left out the part where I said but then there's always that lucky punch. in this case it was the knee that started it.

but good call guys. it's one of those things that happen. I was expecting a war which probably would've been but brown capitalized on an opening and it worked for him. I see him beating werdum and getting a title shot against cain

this is like bragging about how well you polished a turd

us real fans were still busy watching the rest of the event.

but anyways, it was a good card. I think all the fights that aired besides the last fight they aired after the main event was a stoppage.

disappointed in Leben, the guy just quit. but then that's easy for me to say, I wasn't the one who got punched. still though, I would think he wouldn't have quit on his stool like that. seems like he just came to the conclusion that he had no way of winning and just chose to bow out though. they were saying this fight was a loser leaves town match so we'll see

rousey was just too much for meisha. she's just too strong and her technique is top notch. she was always able to answer anything meisha attempted and always a step ahead. she completely schooled meisha in the grappling department. had meisha on the defense even when meisha was on top. and that armbar was amazing. first time I seen an armbar without the leg over the victim's face. she cranked the joint side ways instead of the traditional backwards. she's a true wizard on the ground. I was really rooting for meisha but you gotta give it to ronda

for the main event,............ well, every champ's time has to come. I think Anderson should retire. he's got nothing left to prove, he'll probably be 40 by the time he can come back from the injury. there's no need to. chris looks like he's got Anderson's number at this point in their careers. I didn't see any hints that Anderson was gonna be able pull something off and then the injury happened.

it was a beautiful leg check. they mentioned it in the post fight interview but Weidman's team saw in the first fight that he was getting kicked too much on the inside thigh, and they worked on it, trained for the leg checks and it worked. props to his team. it was a legitimate tko

the former champ should rest, heal up and enjoy his life after all the work he's put in.

now on to vitor vs weidman

breaking news

ronda rousey vs sara mcmann announced for ufc 170

no rest for rousey. I don't think mcmann is ready to face ronda, but at least she has Olympic level wrestling to counter ronda's killer judo. I still gotta call it for ronda by armbar

Unbelievable ending to Silva. All my pics tonite were wrong including the main card. With Belfort it has to be in the U.S. and they're needs to be testing done. Hats off to Weidmann

just thinking back seeing the all time great grab his leg and screaming in agony was just a horrible feeling.

this morning he tweets

"brazil, I'm sorry. I didn't want to disappoint you. I did my best, I swear."

what a heart wrenching way to top off his career. would've been better if he got subbed or ko'd. I'm finding on message boards that even Anderson haters can't celebrate

Solid card last night. As others have said, it sucks to see Silva go out like that. Even if he got KOd or subbed it would have been better. There's no way he comes back from that.
Weidman has beat Silva twice now, but I still think that Belfort and Machida will both beat him.
I think that Browne beats Werdum, but a fight with Cain could go either way.
