ye thats real fast grwoth rate, iv had mine for about a year at basically fry to about 4 inches for the male and 2.5-3 inches for the female

cheers people lets hope they carry on growing like they are!-) nice festae everyone, seems there is alot of variation i was pretty naive and though festae were all pretty similar lookin, guess not...

hey all my male festae is looking good today (even though the female has lost her colour after looking great!) so i thought i'd do an update so here goes, both fish are cichlid of american from dan sent all the way over here to the uk. i started with three lost one of the males a few moths in to a wound from the african pike i used to have so here goes... 2.5 inch fish too?

Thanks, you might be correct...looked up on google...similar looking fish

Nice growth, Dan has great fish. I have a few hundred Festae of different lineage and sizes.
