This is BABS second in command and by far the most aggro. She just doesn't cause as much damage as our festae but she consumes 6-7" fish regularly,. Right about 13-14"......
^^ the Jag was mature when i picked her up. Down here in FL they give these guys away, and she say in a tiny cube for a bit. Too cool not to pick up. Lays eggs with or without a male
The Festae took quite a bit because she was the slowest grower and the smallest fish of the community group and got beat to ICH twice. She grew more once she started spawning, which was a bit strange, but it took almost 2 years for her to hit 9". Now she's just getting fat from all the eggs........

thats awsome! iv had my festae since they were maybe 1/2 of an inch, in a year the male is 4 inches and female is2.5 maybe 3. one of the slowest growers of had. debating of selling them and keeping this really nice male jag but i'm having second thoughts lol tough decision. how big of a tank do you ahve your festae in?
300 gallon for the pair. They grow pretty slowly lol. Only species I keep that grows slower is the Ornatum. Jags grow FAST......Thank god I have patience.....
