Giant Clown Loaches

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
That's what I'm visualizing. I think the added color would look really nice. Just wondering if the slow growth rate is going to make them too tempting to the goliath eventually.

Yeah it can be a little risky. For some reason though, I've housed other loaches with larger predators that could've swallowed them but they never did...its like they give the loaches respect or something lol.

Yea not much messes with clown loaches esp after they tried it once.lol A few years back when I introduced my first clown (7inch) to my 2foot tig, he chased and took a quick snap and then never tried it again. Then when I started putting 3inch clowns in there, he didn't even look twice at them. They do get respect from big fish, but sometimes the big fish have to learn the hardway first. I also saw my dat completely engulf a newly introduced 3inch clown in his mouth and then spit it out. I thought the loach was gonna be demolished, but then he just continued to swim away amazingly. Dat never tried that again.lol
Awesome loaches btw!:headbang2
