These types situation is not good for my health.+1, I feel you on this one and it is not fun to deal with this type of situation at all
I want to get a house with a walk out basement so no one will mess with them.

I once threw a guy out of my house for dropping a handfull of doritos into an oscar tank I had. I at first told him to start netting, but he copped an attitude and tried to argue that he had an oscar once and it was "****ing fine". And I currently have a girlfriend that wayyy over feeds. So guess who gets to clean all the leftover food up.. not her

Wow if any of my friends messed with my tanks like throwing doritos or a beer in they'd get a punch to the throat.. I think they know that already w/o being told haha. When people come charging in I go "woah chill". Luckily all my tanks are in my room and if I'm not in my room nobody else is and there's a lock on my door for when I'm not around.. that's mainly for buffalo bills games when there's hundreds of random drunks around and a lot of random drunken friends and fam coming in and out all day..
I don't think its over reacting by any means, they're your pets.. someone whacking the lid, no matter what the age, is like someone smacking your dog instead of petting it. Big no no
If any of my cousins kids ever pull that (luckily they're all too short to reach the glass.. as of yet) smacking the glass I'd put em in their place real quick. My cousin is a strict parent (doesn't want a brat like most seem to be) so if anything shed thank me for scolding them

I'm very selective about who I let into my home so I don't have that issue. The only people who I ever have over are ones I trust completely.

I just took my granddaughter' s hand and stuck it in the tank with the Fahaka. Taught that little kid. She can't pick her nose anymore.

Everyone know that speach, but only if they knew how much some of these fishes cost or how rare and hard it is to get. The fish hobby is one of the most costly.
