hey all, i have a lone piranha in the said tank and im thinking of selling him on and starting a small breeding group or pair in it... we have bred convicts and midas and our dovii spawned when we had them... we are hoping to breed something a little rarer, maybe cichlids such as apistogramma or super red jewels maybe... also considered rainbow snakeheads, or maybe another small predator, small predatory catfish??? do exodens readily breed or is the tank too small for half a dozen?? any ideas welcome not really up to speed on our smaller species tbh?

tanks is 32x14x18 or there abouts. thanks.

i think the Apistos are your best bet, very pretty fish, a large group of people out there who are obsessed with dwarf cichlids, so there is a demand, plus some go for anywhere from $50-$80 so pretty good money to keep your hobby up to date and basically pay for your hobby, also pretty easy to breed My friend has a pair he got for his 15g and they breed in about two weeks. Do some research and see if you like em!

Good luck!

Apistos are pretty cool, or maybe Killis... And depending on the footprint of your tank, you could even divide it and do 2 breeding groups. More bang for your buck.

ANgels are a cool start........................Or, Discus............Place a brick in the middle of the tank..........No substrate..............Varied diet.................Live foods , *Brine shrimp, small cickets, -krill, blood worms...........
