Do you over react when it come to your fishes?

Its not just about the fish or the money invested, it is a labor of love, we put a lot of thought, time, effort, planning etc.into our aquariums that a lot of people just don't comprehend.when you put as much into it as most of us do, and someone messes with it, bangs on the glass or whatnot, I see that as a big ...k you.you can fill in the blanks

I do not over re-act, more than welcome to sit and watch them, you are not welcome to feed them, or touch the glass. lift the lid and well,,, theirs the door. tapping the glass my biggest pet peeve.
 
That's the BIGGEST NO NO. My daughters make sure they tell anyone that comes over that they can look but if you touch my daddy's tank you are no longer allowed in my house and to leave now
 
I'm working with my little girls on no tapping on the glass...only time I tap on a tank glass is for my rainbow shark, he likes to hide so I tap the glass lightly for him to come out for feeding. Odd fish!

+1 I get my older daughter to tell peoples not to touch and scare the fishes, she say it much nicer than if I would say it.

I only time I tap or smack on the tank when I see two fish fighting and really going at it.
 
Kids never really do anything annoying to my tanks, its my grandpa who does that lol.

He has this really annoying habit where he approaches the tank, licks his index finger then traces it across the front of the tank and it makes that squeaky noise so that the cichlids will follow it, I hate it, and when I mention it I get the whole "ehhh you're a grump" etc nonsense. All i can think of is saliva smeared on the front glass :(

LOL, Sound like you need rainX on the front glass of your tank so it can repel his saliva and the squeak noise from his fingers.
