Also, what are your opinions on thickness of the base? Sorry, just looking for the opinions so that I can draw up a full on plan for this.

With the height being only 2' I'd be comfortable making that tank from 12mm, as you would have a safety factor of over 3. With that much width you will need to make sure the stand is evenly supporting the base, you'll have a fairly large area to try get level...

Ahh ok that's awesome. Basically. It's going into a insulated shed. The floor is cement and the room usually stays a constant 25°-26°C. Basically, I got sick of putting effort into a tiny in comparison 7x2x2. I want Monster fish so I shall have a monster tank haha. Plus, this set-up works better for me
