My Flowerhorn laid eggs for the 1st time :)

Hello guys my flowerhorn laid eggs now the thing is both male and female were rounding the eggs for awhile but now female started to fight each other..... so i made a separator and left the female to take of the eggs.. so now my question is how do the eggs fertilize ? i read in some forums that male will fertilize the eggs but my pair is fighting each other so help me guys....IMAG0091.jpgIMAG0096.jpgIMAG0097.jpgIMAG0098.jpg

He probably did his part with the eggs then wore out his welcome and the female no longer wants him around.

If he fertalized them. If he was moving around over the eggs during the process then they are probably fertile. You will be able to tell by tomorrow night. You will have some that get white and fungus but watch the ones that turn a dark amber. Saturday night you will be able to see dark spots in the fertile eggs. Those spots are the eyes of your fry.
 
In most probability, the eggs are already fertilized by the male as suggested by the others. Keep the mother with the eggs..... better chance of wigglers to come out in 2/3 days and less fungus. Then you can keep the mother with the fry for some more time and you meanwhile can prepare the food for the fries! Good luck! :)
