What's the point of even having a kick off if they are trying to get touchbacks? Just have them start on the 20. I knew they were thinking about finding a way around it but I didn't know they actually moved it, however I did noticed it in game that most were going past the endzone.

Yeah, they moved the kicker up 15 yards. So lame. im with you.

Hahahaha! Statistically speaking almost 50% of those scrambles resulted in atleast one player getting injured. What a great way to start the game...

Thats the best part of it! Lol, youd have to have a ringer whos only job was to do the mad scramble plus a back up. Couldnt use your real player. It adds strategy.

Nah, when new york/new jersey was pitched, they used bad weather as the main selling point. Brought up all the previous bad weather playoff games and how memorable they are. It won the heart and imagination of the voters

Still too soon to tell with any certainty what the weather will be.

I have always said the Super Bowl should be held on a Saturday, the one day buffer between the game and the start of the work week would prevent a lot of call outs or unnecessary vacation/sick days being used on Monday. Either that or make Super Bowl Monday a national holiday! Moving the game to Saturday night would be easier.

Moving the day because of the weather shouldn't even be an option. If you agree to hold it outside in the north east in Feb. you take what you get.

It may be too early but the Sherman story is starting to waver so weather is next up on the queue list. Lol

I like both your ideas tom. I pretty much treat it like a holiday and go to the coast for the weekend, pack up Sunday and spend Superbowl Sunday at a casino drinking and eating well. Life is good

Anyone seen the Sherman commercial? He's doing an interview then someone mentions the word thug, then he says interviews over and puts on headphones.

Yeah, it debuted during the game last weekend. Brilliant marketing by Dr dre by having that kapernick commercial where hes getting riled up by the seahawk fans during the season and then debuting the Sherman commercial during the game before Sherman even made the play of the game. Thats like winning the lottery.

I thought of teejay aka crimsonfog when it debuted hahaha
