Great Setup! Love the different kinds of fish! Everyone gets along for the most? That's awesome!

Lovely Leo, brilliant coloring and spots. He is gonna smash that lovely decor all over the place as he grows, enjoy it whilst you can!

Couldn't agree more Toby, awesome big spot Leo. For sure that lovely tank going to take a beating as he grows!

Thanks guys!

Everyone gets along great. There are a few fights among the pbass but the armatus breaks them up fast. The armatus will give chase once and a while to the Geo but for the most part everyone is layed back.

As to the decor. He has been moving, chewing, smashing, splashing everything since day one. He is a down right handful at times! The one log on the left side is free roaming. It was blocking the PVC so it couldnt be seen(gonna replace it with black PVC since that log is now a toy.) The plants are all fake as he will pull them apart and move them around every few days. The center stump isnt moving he has tried. I wedged it between the bottom and the xl glass center brace of this old school oceanic tank. He climbs on it and chews on it daily. The oak log on the far right(for tannins and a "spitting" deturent) is wedged in with be heavy rocks he can't move..yet. I put it there because he would go to the corner were there is a tiny hole and spray me with water to get attention/food. The power head before it was hidden by the oak log would be ripped apart daily. He is almost 2 and his behavior fits his age.. Lol.. With it set up like it is there is really only about 8 square inches of the foot print used up so he has plenty of room right now. I have the glass for the next tank, just have to build it. Once the move is complete I am building a 15'x8'x 30". I have 2x 6'x30" panes of glass for windows. If that move isnt fast enough I'll put it in my 6'x3'x30" tank I am also building.

Starting to see some rolling on his claspers so hopefully when he fully Sexually matures some of his childish behavior will..lol..I'll get him another female to try an breed. He really started to act up when I took his first female away(a mature bdxpearl). He is a bdxleo so I am hoping his big spots will get passed on into his pups. As he is the first part of my breeding goals.

He is 10"+ disc right now.

As I was typing the reply I thought I would get some belly shots since he was up on the side. I also got a few other shots since I was there and he was there and the phone was set to camera...lol

That ray has more white than most bd I see on here. Considering bd is just a grade of black ray these days would get very high rate from me.
