yeaah, ive already seen your other thread btw. and once again, i love it !
anyway, when venting midas, is it the same as we do on fh? and what size can i vent it ?

i always had best luck around 10 to 12 cm when venting
exact same a flowerhorn

How come nobody has a barred midas?

This is the only barred midas ive ever had. Here in vegas they label them as Red Isleta. I don't know if that makes a difference but they are just barred midas. This is my female whos also close to seven years old. In my experience only having this one, they do not grow as large as a normal midas. Maybe im wrong but to me they are a little shorter in length and much thicker and not as tall. This is my female in a community tank mixed with jags,dovii,vieja.

oh, thanks. from my observation, females have a longer mouth/face/snout or whatever they call it lol, than males do.
