I have had my Goonch for almost a month now and have yet to see him feed. I have fed him everything from nightcrawlers to pellets and feeders, and while I know they prefer to eat at night, I would feel better knowing that I have given him the options that he prefers. If anyone has any input on their preferred food, that would be great!

If I have a fish that wont even eat feeders my go to is live blackworms. Works every time.
When my new niger catfish wouldnt eat I put in a crap ton of live blackworms in right before I went to bed. The next morning there where no worms left and the little niger was extremely fat. It's worked on rays, giant gouramis, cats, and even saltwater fish.

Is it a Thai or Indian? What's your temp at? Does it have tank mates? This is all relevant cuz these are extremely sensitive fish. I have both a rutilus and HLG. My HLG still hasn't taken pellets yet but it pounds feeders like crazy. My rutilus pounds down massivore as if it were gonna die tomorrow. Definitely give it a try but if it's not even taking feeders, I don't know the chances of live worms being taken either since they are naturally piscivorous in the wild.
