I replanted my onion plant yet again yesterday. Within minutes she spotted it , she puffed up and fared at me a few times then just hovered around it all day waiting for nightfall to dig it back up, of course it was floating above her cave again this morning.

With this species planting anything in the substrate is a lost cause, it's more of a game at this point lol. This plant spends most of it's time rooted upside down in the floating cover (which is now ore like a floating island lol) and it grows quite well that way so i leave it alone until and plant it from tie to time just to watch the female get all worked up over me changing the decore lol

I just plant the plants where my aurantimaculata girl spits her sand. She helps bury some of it. Other areas she dig them up, its pretty annoying haha. Anyway nice female!

I tried that at one point but she just kept piling more sand until those plants were covered and dead lol. She will actually bring large plants over and add them to her pile. I've dug this onion out of it twice after she pulled it over and then covered it in sand !

Same here, she has actually buried plants till they died. I grow vallisernia, they're hardy and some survived and even thrived. I have stopped caring for her tank for now as im going to upgrade in a couple weeks time. Till then, i let her do what she wants.
