So the silicone came right off. There's none in the seam. It's tight and still glued together. But u can see a small spot where it leaks.

Do I need to adress that spot or will the seam of Weld on 40 handle that?

Weld-on #40 will handle the problem, tip and pouring it on the seams as pictured earlier in the thread was spot on info. Most local glass/acrylic shops do not carry the product but they may be able to order it for u. imo no use having someone else order it as u wont save money so just order urself some wherever u can find it online. Id do the whole tank tip and pour with #40 but thats just me. 1/2" is a great thickness for this tank, im surprised it didnt hold up.

After inspecting it throughly I noticed that whomever built the tank did a very poor job. There is bubbles on all the seams.

I will go ahead and pour the weld on #40 into seams like you guys recommend.

Some walk throughs say to use #4 in the actual spot where the 2 sheets meet.

Should I skip that step and just pour the seams?
