Hello again, making another thread because it seems like once my other threads have been around for over 5 days they don't get much attention, but anyways if you want to get some background in this go read my "final stocking for my 75 gallon" thread. But a quick background anyways; my 75 is almost done cycling and the fish that will definitely be in it include 6 giant danios, 1 rainbow shark, 1 striped raphael catfish, 1 sailfin pleco (only for 2 years), 1 four line pimelodus, and 1 green severum. Now originally I was also planning on 1 convict and 1 firemouth in addition and may still wind up doing that. But I want to know whether there are any very personable, owner friendly, responsive, come up to the glass, let you pet them (for most cases) cichlids (other than an oscar) that can go in my 75 gallon for life, is compatible with the other fish, and will not push me over my bioload.

Leave it as is the more personable cichlids would either take over the 75 or need a eventual upgrade. The severum will be personable enough

Seems to me your tank is over aready stocked. A mature severum will grow to around 8" or more.

So I'll just do the danios, rainbow shark, raphael cat, pimelodus, pleco, severum, convict, and firemouth then. Can either the firemouth or convict be trained to handfeed?

All three can be trained to be hand fed the con,Firemouth, and sev

a nice female green terror(gold saum) a male would most likely harass tankmates once it hits a certain size. green terrors are soo nice

Thats good news then, I always thought firemouth were pretty shy but I guess not.

They are VERY shy! I did not even see mine for the first month! I had him for a year and a half and he never let my hand anywhere near him. Now, MAYBE if you have one for a really long time and work with it alot it can be done but they will not just instantly become glass bangers...
