What kind of fish is this? The long striped one that I am trying to follow. It has some red fins. I though it had spots but they turned in to stripes. I paid $7 at the LFS but the name they gave me did not match anything on Google images.

I am going to try to get a better video tomorrow. I just got this camera.

maybe a young dorado. There are fresh and salt water dorado if that is the name you googled it most likely came up with the salt water kind. they are also called golden dorado but that is just my guess. never seen a young one before.

When I put it in to google dorado fish look really green. Mine is silver.

The clip is not showing very clearly in my phone but it does not look like a dorado but some kind of brycon maybe.

^ +1 on brycon, dorado are way more expensive then 7$ and not very common. Brycons dont get as large and are cheaper

Even if it was a golden dorado it wouldnt show any gold yet, the only dorado in captivity ive ever seen w/ a good amount of gold is arapiamags and its HUGE

It looks a lot like an African Tiger fish but with out the teeth. That is what I thought it was when I saw it.

It actually looks like a really big gold barb. It has a spot on the tail like one.

This might be a case for oddball, but it doesn't look like a brycon IMO.

Juveniles are silver but the others are probably right i am not 100% on this ID as stated before.
