why would I watch house wives or young and restless? I hate soap and reality tv that follow no talent idiots making asses of themselves

I didn't say I was into that stuff. my point was that I was starting to be more interested in the side love plots more than the main plot. which is a knock on the main plot more than anything

besides, regardless of my criticisms before, I still would not have given it a thumbs down

you all are just cynical. I've praised the show as well as criticized. I read reviews on the show and they are generally good but they are also criticized for the same reasons I did.

if season 2 continues like this and the plot doesn't move on, it's gonna get old pretty quick
 
I havent had this problem in 10+ years (its usually only out for a few hours) but i remember as a kid my mom would throw a fit over the phone and get a credit or free hbo/cinemax over more then a day missed

I hope my tank at home is ok. We havent lost power here but some parts of the city have. Comcast is fine at my place too but no idea on power lost.

i'm a little annoyed by what they did with Jacob. he was a pansy at first. but then he seemed to do a 180 and became a psycho. I was loving where they were going with him. but then the dude turns pansy again! what the hell?? it made no sense. what was the point of the ghost buddy if he was just gonna turn pansy again?? that was way lame. there was so much potential where they could've taken it. don't know why they did that. then after all that, he gets slit in the throat. so disappointed.

btw, I really like the flashbacks. they are done really really well. they don't drag any flashbacks, just gives you enough to build a character and show you some backstory.

I was just busting your chops with house wives and young and the restless. I think it's a pretty good show but I'm pretty sure it's difficult to take a whole script and stretch it to fit one season without having filler episodes/dry spots/ or points where the plot drags. Imo even GoT has its slow spots.

I actually think they did an excellent job in season one without it feeling like it was dragging. they kept a pretty furious pace consistently throughout. today I actually told one of my brothers (who follow walking dead and GoT) about the following. I recommended he watch it.

yes, GoT has filler episodes and dry spots

anyways, I just finished episode 2 of second season. interesting where they went with it.


but I gotta say, it's not as exciting as season one but that may be due to what I said before, if they stretch this plot too long it will become more of the same thing as last season with different characters. but it's only the beginning so we'll see.
