I am quite surprised by the growth rate of it aswell. I think it will get much bigger than it is now.

If so, this would mean that it has to be the largest growing variant of Malabaricus. Normally they max out at 16-18 inches.

I believe so, There are pictures of these caught in argentina at huge sizes.
