Looks like a weeksii to me. Definitely not a retropinnis; they don't have the stripes.

22 inches is what my research says is the max, but like all polys they'll grow quickly to a certain point then slow way down.

I've heard mixed opinions. I've heard they'll grow really fast to like 9"-11" then slow down. I've also heard and experienced (2 times) from the moment you get them they are slow growers.

Interesting! I've never actually had one so I can only repeat what I google.

As far as size though 22" is about right give or take a few inches as bacon said. They also have very big appetites depending on the personality. I've had one that seemed allergic to food and one that seems like a black hole when it's feeding time. I've also found that with both of mine that I had they aren't active at all. They are very interesting though and I think you'll like it.
