La Ceiba is a Location.
We should throw Location in the trasH. Lets really talk fish breed. Location is lame if fish look the same.
I do Agree Yellow heads are Not equal To Yellow Jackets. But scientifically(i think because Im no scientist) they are under the "freddy" breed. Like Gorillus and Blue freckled monsters ar under the Umbee breed

Location is what differentiates the Umberfiurm variants you mentioned. They are all umbees correct? Do they look anything alike???? Heck no. Acme goes with these fish. They are both parachromis correct? Do they look anything alike??? Heck no. The owner should know what they have so they can keep the species around in the hobby longer.
Just look at Panama green umbees find those in the hobby. .. They don't exist anymore. But they were around at some point. The same will happen with these eventually and the body of water that these fish were collected is no longer even there. If you love parachromis this is a special fish to add to your collection. Not just a freddy.....

I hear you and agree about fish from different locals looking different, but you said this fish was NOT a Freddy. The fish in question is a Parachromis Friedrichsthalii. La Ceiba is a location. I wanted the owner to know what they have is 100% a Freddy. Also, for the record and IMO, I don't see La Ceiba here either... the La Ceiba have more blues in it. This looks to me like a regular Parachromis Fiedrichsthalii or "Yellow Jacket" or "Freddy". I still called my old La Ceiba Freddy a Freddy, because when it comes down to it that is what it is.
