need a little help with my stingray

Very fine ray, Im sure its gonna turn out just fine!
She looks like a scobina to me, or am i confused ?
 
Your nitrate shouldn't be zero, something might be wrong with your test kits. Even super clean water would be at least 5-10 with a ray. Can you see the underside of the disk, is it red? How often are you doing water changes and what size is the tank?

hi dxdx,sorry will test it again tomorrow when i get up if still 0.00, i will go and buy a new test kit tomorrow. underside of the disc is not red, 30% every two days water change.tank size is 48x12x15 this is just an holding tank as I'm moving my 80x24x24 750ltr tank to my new fish shed.
 
24x24 will give you trouble with a full sized ray but im sure you know that. Your ray will not always do that funny fin thing its irritation. also when my rays poops its only in the tank for 20 minutes or less and then its gone into the filter or just broken up by other fish. I've gone months without seeing poop. if you want to see some poop feed your ray a ton of bloodworms :)
 
seen waste from my ray for the first time in the new tank ...ive done 2 test on nitrate one test is coming back with 5-10 other test kit is coming up with 25 I'm got to do water change tomorrow so going to do 40% ...

hi medhbsi,my plan is to do a plywoodtank and the size I'm planning to do is a 144"x60"x48" with a 8ft glass front ..
 
update on food she has taken garden worms for the first time today :) hope to see a big poop soon lol..
