Fish that go well with bichirs?

anything bigger than their mouth is ok. Nothing big enough to eat them. I tend to stay away from cichlids.
I have a number of cichlids in a community tank with my bichir. There are absolutely no problems. They leave him alone and he does his own thing. He is outgoing so he comes to the top to eat the same pellets as they do and is quick to realize when there are any sinking pellets.
Let me give you the best answer..... More bichirs
Your right that is the best answer. Once you have a bichir pile, you just want to keep adding to it.

I have had cichlid-wise true green terror (stalsbergi), true red terror (festae), green severum, and a group of 3 geophagus brasiliensis. No problems, currently have all of those w/ 2x cb endli and 2x F1 teugelsi (rapps).
Non-cichlid; IT datnoids, red wolf fish (this guy pushes em around sometimes), striped raphael cat (he would crash into my bichirs so I sold him), needlefisfh (aka Asian needle nose "gars"), peacock bass, rope fish. I've kept all these with my larger guys and they got along just fine.
