Chocolate Cichlid and Red Tailed Catfish

Red tail catfish will be sold no matter what. The way i look at it, if you can house it better then most others it is ok. Chances are if you do not some other guy with even worse condotions then you will just end up getting it anyways!

With all due respect, you are remarkably wrong. But nothing I will say will convince you otherwise.
It is plain wrong to own a fish that you cannot house properly longterm, unless you have a rock solid back-up plan.
Is it a mistake I've made in the past? Yup. Does that make it right? No. I was wrong, and so are you.
no fish really that is smaller than its mouth and on growth they will grow upwards of 2-3 inches a month so you should expect a 18 inch cat in 6 months at a little over 2 foot in a year
