Found 6 of these little guys at a local fish store and I offered $1 each for them. No one there knew what they were and nor did I. I know they look like a blood parrot but I just don't know what they are mixed with? Can someone please ID them :) I would love to know the mix!

What makes you think they are mixed with anything? To me they look like young unfaded blood parrots, pretty normal at this size.

Exactly I had one that size looked exactly a like and as it grew older it started fading
Just a standard blood parrot not mixed with anything

Why do you think he made this topic? For people to help him Id the fish.......could have just say blood parrot instead of trying to be a smart ass

lol the way you read something can come across in many ways, i for instance read onefowls post and it was perfectly informative but not rude!-)

I was not trying to be a smart ass, I was asking a question. They could have then answered why with more info like because of the pattern or more common because the store said they were. I have gotten fish and even posted them on this forum because i thought they looked like a hybrid and was told by the store it was only to have it id on here as a cuban cichlid which i had never seen in person before.
