automatic water changer, how much per hour?

When I first set up my drip I tested the water once a week and made small adjustments. Now I test every couple months. I've had this set up running on my 4 main tanks for almost 5 years now, it's awesome!

I noticed the summer months when the water temps rise (85) I need to increase the drip to keep up with the added food the fish are eating. Winter months I let the temps drop to 75 and the fish eat way less so my drip is cut in half. Might as well save the $$$

I agree with this but I don't miss forgetting I'm filling a tank and overflowing water onto the floor (beer).

or

Having the hose drop out of the tank and run clean water directly onto the floor (getting a beer)

or

Having the drain side slipping out of the bathtub and putting dirty water on to the bathroom floor (drunk gravel vacuuming)


Now I just sit in front of my tanks and enjoy my twelve pack :)

LOL I use to live in Ipswich back in the '80's I miss the beers and the summers over there.

Edit: John Smiths Bitter in the 4 pack was my favorite at home drink, however, nothing beats a draft at the pup. I use to really like Tenants, but I was young and dumb back in the ‘80’s…

Just re measured and im at a capacity 1/2 litre in 5 min so around 100% per week... my overflow is not great it seems as the water level has raised about 10mm since starting, does the outlet need to be below your desired tank level to allow for a little syphon effect?? wondering if it was my measurements a little too so I just cut and lowered it by 20mm. Gonna go out in the cold and measure water at the outlet, hopefully its above thr inlet measure now as the level equalises!

Yep a litre in 2 min and the level is visibly dropping now... feeewh its working...!-)
