New one eyed armatus!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Glad you got a good price for it...I've seen one eyed armatus at a certain local store(that will remain unidentified since doing so might be seen as bashing by some here)and no discount was offered.

Same here except with a gatf. They even discounted it but the discount price was still way more than what I got my healthy 2 eyed gatf for

Yeah I couldn't believe how good the deal was i just had to jump on it lol. It was a win win for me to because he isn't skittish because he can't see out of his right side so idk no darting or smashing into the glass eats in front of me just takes awhile cuz his right side is gone and only can strike from that side

Noticed last night since my tank was bare bottom he tried swimming into the ground... Looked like he was trying to get at his reflection because over the algae bottom he didnt do it then over the clear glass he did... Worried about future tankmates a little now!

They are well known for attacking their reflection, blacking out the tank def helps stops this .... these guys suffer from nose rubs from doing this quite often

Well got him in the 75 gallon a he's doing great ate a goldfish the same hour he was acclimated. Vennie pike had a prob with him maybe cuz hes a slow moving silvery bottom dweller? So I had to take him out and I thought might as well measure him and he was actually a solid 6 inches lol. So then my tarpon is actually 7 and armatus probably 8.5 lol water and glass distort the actual size or I estimate really bad lol he is doing great, charged the tarpon once but we'll see how things go
