what's happening to my FH? i

its fading mate it will more than likely look like a different fish in a few months, probably alot nicer too!-)

that fh just crossed the 1yr mark on the 14th of Feb
i've never checked my water parameters before
the temp is 28 degrees Celsius and i've got an air filter with some K1 media in it
 
varies greatly, esp when they are larger, my midas has been fading for two years but the majority of the change happened in six months...

thats assuming it isnt something wrong with causing the discolouration, im guessing he is eating fine and acting normally, has the change started gradually as in not over night?

he's acting just fine, eating normally and still begging for his food
just got a lil more aggressive since the colour change and started to attack the power filter
